Foz do Iguacu

Well after an excruciatingly long bus ride (24 hours) we made it to Iguazu falls. The bus ride was actually not that bad, as it was mostly empty and we had lots of room to spread out. Far more comfortable than a plane ride.

We arrived way behind schedule yesterday. We should have arrived somewhere around 7 am, but didn t make it till around 11. It is quite cold here compared to rio. blech. patty came down witha a cold, and I had a touch of whatever she's got yesterday, so allwe did was go into the city center, get some cold medicine, and eat some soup.

today is rainy, but we''ll go see the brazilian side of the falls anyway. keep your fingers crossed -- we want it to be sunny and warm tomorrow.
